Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand, gather and document business requirements
- Work with customers to configure NetSuite to meet their specific business needs
- Collaborate with the team and project manager to coordinate efforts and close any gaps that are of the utmost importance and facilitate on time / on budget project delivery
- Effectively be able to articulate clients needs and business requirements to the technical team members for delivery. Upon completion of technical team’s work, be able to demonstrate technology solutions obtained from the technical team to clients
- Build, create, and test personalized solutions with the help of the technical team for clients
- Assist in resolving support tickets for existing clients as they arrive
- Assist the sales team by effectively working in the sales cycle by conducting demos for prospects.
- Assist in creating and modifying Standard Operating Procedures for the company’s delivery process.
- Define and create detailed functional requirements and solution designs
- Work with technical teams to design, test and lead customizations and/or integrations with NetSuite
- Conduct quality checks on deliverables developed by other members of the team.
- Ensure that billable utilisation targets are met or exceeded.
- Establish a learning path by increasing NetSuite product knowledge regularly and pursue relevant certifications. (Training opportunities will be provided).
Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of experience as NetSuite Functional Consultant/Business Analyst.
- Has multiple implementation experience.
- NetSuite Suite Foundation certification and other NetSuite certifications including ERP Consultant certification will be considered as an asset
- Must be a subject matter expert (SME) on NetSuite modules.
- Experience in the below modules will be considered as an asset:
- Advanced Financials (budgets and intercompany transactions)
- Advanced Manufacturing / MRP o Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)
- Advanced Inventory
- Suite Billing NetSuite Project Module
- QuickBooks to NetSuite Data conversion
- Fixed Asset Module
- Demand Planning
- Comprehensive understanding of traditional business processes and how they relate to NetSuite operations.
- Defining needs for complex enhancements and integrations is a plus
- Ability to provide customer guidance based on best practices.
- Solid understanding of the NetSuite application and providing advice to the project team on NetSuite’s capabilities
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Excellent time management and organizing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as a great team player.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, finance, Business Administration or a similar discipline would be preferred.
