Job Summary
The team that develops internationally used software system Enquire are looking for a Contract ETL Developer to join the Product Development Team.
Expectations
We are looking for an experienced ETL Developer to join our Software Development team at our Brisbane City office. You’ll climb on board a dynamic, passionate and highly motivated team of creative developers, testers, solution architects & business analysts with AGILE practises within a modern development stack to work on our international software.
Our flagship Software as a Service (SaaS) product “Enquire” is a market leader in grant, contract and project management for medium to large enterprises in the environmental, government, health, not-for-profit, community and international aid sectors.
Duties/Responsibilities
The role will be to help build ETL SQL scripts to:
- Provision a reporting capability for Enquire’s dedicated tenancies
- Data obfuscation and mapping scripts to assist and enhance information security across environments.
The solution will be based on Extracting data from a number of Enquire databases, Transforming (and mapping) into a consumable reporting entities and Loading into a consolidated reporting store. The reporting store clients will be data analytics tools such as (but not limited to) PowerBI, Amazon Quicksight and Tableau.
We need someone who is pragmatic, has a good sense of teamwork and gets the job done. Also, a fast learner who can pick up modern technologies and techniques when required.
Qualifications
- Experienced ETL Developer
- AWS RDS MySQL Data management experience
- SQL Scripting (MySQL 5.7-8.0)
- Agile practices, dynamic and motivated team environment.
- Excellent location – Brisbane City Office
Required for the role:
- 2+ years’ experience with MySQL version 5.7 +
- Experience with Bash scripting on a Linux platform.
- Experience with SQL, database design and management
Any of the following is an advantage:
- AWS Relational Data Service (RDS)
- AWS Data Management components (AWS Data Migration Services, AWS Quicksight)
- AWS DynamoDb CLi
