Job Summary
A billing representative is in charge of assisting customers with any questions or concerns they may have regarding their bills. As a billing rep., you can assist a customer with changes to their billing information and making changes to their monthly payment if needed. This also includes providing discounts due to equipment malfunctions and delayed or rescheduled appointments. As a collections agent, you’ll be responsible for calling past-due customers to collect payments.
Duties/Responsibilities
You’ll be making over 170 outbound calls using our Dialer. You will have access to manage aging reports on 0-30 days, 31-60 days, 60 +, and 90 + past due accounts. Our goal is to keep all customers current on their bills. Our system allows you to process payments and add any necessary late fees to an account. You will have all the necessary access to be able to reach your goals. Each billing representative is expected to collect $500 each day. As a Billing/Collections agent you will be expected to demonstrate the following:
- Ability to learn and navigate Billing/Accounting software and CRM
- Good customer service and phone skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to negotiate financial solutions for customers who may need payment assistance
